On June 11, District Party Secretary Hu Guangjie led a team to Shanghai Silver Economy Trade and Development Co., Ltd. to investigate, inspect the operation status of Shanghai Silver Economy Store, and hold a special symposium to jointly plan the path for high-quality development of the regional silver economy. During the investigation, Hu Guangjie and his team visited the Shanghai Silver Economy Store, inspected the full-scenario age-friendly products covering ‘clothing, food, housing, transportation, and entertainment’, learned in detail about the services related to smart home environment renovation, and carefully inquired about the operation situation, service model, and audience needs.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the subsequent symposium, Hu Guangjie listened to relevant introductions and had in-depth exchanges with the responsible person of Shanghai Silver Economy Trade and Development Co., Ltd. He stated that we should raise our stance, closely follow the relevant deployments of the central government, the municipal party committee, and the municipal government, rely on the existing development foundation to intensively cultivate, continuously improve the technological and intelligent level of elderly services, and promote the quality, efficiency, and steady long-term development of the regional silver economy. We should build industrial carriers, arrange platforms such as retail exhibitions, regular exhibition forums, and silver economy science and technology parks, deepen school-local cooperation to promote industry-university-research transformation, strengthen industrial coordination in the Yangtze River Delta and along the Shanghai-Nanjing corridor, and smooth channels for domestic and foreign trade exchanges. We should enrich business scenarios, integrate multiple fields of culture, commerce, tourism, sports, and exhibitions, improve supporting facilities such as silver economy finance, convenient consumption, and residential health care, upgrade offline flagship stores, build a digital trading platform for elderly products, open up online and offline service chains, and create standardized and replicable operation models to help the industry continuously upgrade in quality.<\/span><\/p>\n

Li Dong stated that the Municipal Trade Promotion Committee will fully support the development of Putuo’s silver economy. Leveraging its core functions such as international liaison, trade promotion, and legal services, and making good use of global overseas service networks, it will provide comprehensive economic and trade services for local elderly care enterprises going abroad and the introduction of foreign resources. Deeply cultivate the exhibition sector, continuously strengthen various industry exhibition platforms, consolidate regional exhibition service capabilities and industrial influence, and strengthen team efforts to provide good service guarantees. Give full play to the professional advantages of the Shanghai International Arbitration Center to provide professional legal guarantees for the silver industry, foreign-related trade, and commodity trading, and jointly promote the regional silver economy to a higher level.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n<\/section>\n
