On the afternoon of June 5th, hosted by the Shanghai Association of Elderly Service and Aging Industry, organized by Shanghai Fuyuan Elderly Care Service Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Ageclub Technology Co., Ltd., and supported by Shanghai Junci Robotics Co., Ltd., Shanghai Fuli Health Management Consulting Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Lewan Technology Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Pharma Health Science Co., Ltd., the ‘Urban Aging’ Innovation Development Conference\u2014the 5th Special Session on High-Quality Development of Community-Based Embedded Elderly Care\u2014opened with great enthusiasm at the 2026 Shanghai Senior Care Expo. Nearly 400 people from elderly care associations in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, and colleagues from all over the country participated. The atmosphere was electric.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vice President Xu Guojian of the Shanghai Association of Elderly Service and Aging Industry and Director Ling Wei of the Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau’s Elderly Care Division delivered addresses. Vice President Xu Guojian stated that the community home care session has always been one of the most attended and widely participated sessions of the annual ‘Urban Aging’ Innovation Development Conference, often with standing-room-only crowds. As the connotation of community home care continues to expand and participants diversify, these ‘new partners’ include both frontline elderly care service institutions and technology enterprises, commercial companies, and cross-border forces bringing new products, technologies, and models. From different perspectives, they enter communities, approach seniors, and integrate into families, bringing new ideas and possibilities to community home care.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/section>\n

He hopes that through such special sessions, multi-party resource connections and industrial cooperation can be deepened, more replicable innovative models can be exchanged, community home care scenarios can be continuously optimized, and the transformation channel between technology and elderly care scenarios can be opened, promoting the implementation of silver technology for the benefit of the people.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/section>\n

AgeClub General Manager and Co-founder Yin Yi shared a speech titled ‘360\u00b0 of the Silver Economy and 365 Days of Silver Consumption’. She pointed out that China’s silver economy has entered a critical transition period, shifting from the traditional single driver of ‘care necessity’ to a dual-wheel drive of ‘care necessity + active consumption’. With generational changes, the core needs of the ‘new silver generation’ have upgraded from basic survival care to three dimensions: physical health, quality of life, and value reshaping. She emphasized that the development of the elderly care industry needs to break away from the traditional ‘selling products’ mindset and build a deeply integrated ‘people-goods-scenario’ long-term companionship scene, with trust as the core currency and long-term companionship as value addition, focusing on community scenarios to create a service entry point for ‘lifetime consumers’, becoming a companion and value creator for silver-aged people throughout their 365 days.<\/span><\/p>\n

She systematically reviewed the four-stage evolution of Shanghai’s elderly care services from 1.0 basic care, 2.0 system construction, 3.0 quality improvement to 4.0 ecological integration, proposing the core development logic of ‘scenario is king, ecology wins’. Combining practical exploration of the popular project ‘Xinleli’, she detailed the layout strategy of the all-age ecological ‘Cube’ model: using diverse scenarios as carriers, connecting all-age service chains, integrating resources such as rehabilitation, elderly care, culture and entertainment, and commerce, to build an all-age friendly, value-symbiotic, and sustainably operated elderly care ecosystem. She also shared Fuyuan’s years of innovative concepts and practical achievements in deeply cultivating community-based embedded elderly care, showcasing a new future where model empowerment and resource aggregation drive high-quality development of the elderly care industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wu Fang, General Manager of Shanghai Junci Robotics Co., Ltd., focused on health risk prevention for the elderly, sharing ‘Digital Intelligent Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation: Practice in Preventing Disability and Dementia in the Elderly’. She indicated that against the backdrop of deep aging, the risk of disability and dementia among the elderly is rising, and traditional care models are costly and inefficient, struggling to meet large-scale demand. The deep application of AI and robotics provides low-cost, high-efficiency solutions for active intervention and source prevention, serving as key strategies to alleviate care burdens and improve elderly health. Combining practical wisdom in smart elderly care scenarios, she detailed the application of AI and robotics in monitoring elderly health data, accurate risk early warning, and personalized rehabilitation interventions. Based on the current state of the domestic elderly care industry, she innovatively proposed replicable and scalable operational models, providing practical pathways for the industrialization and large-scale implementation of elderly health risk prevention.<\/span><\/p>\n
