• Designated nursing service institutions (1,092 in total across the city):Provide long-term care services based on assessment conclusions.These are elderly care institutions, community elderly care service institutions, and medical institutions (such as nursing stations) legally established to provide long-term care services. After applying through the procedures, meeting the prescribed conditions, and signing a service agreement with the Municipal Medical Insurance Center, they become designated nursing service institutions for long-term care insurance.

Three ways to search, choose as needed

• Long-term care insurance nursing institution inquiry (service type + district + institution name + address)

• Long-Term Care Insurance Assessment Institution Query (District + Institution Name + Address)

• The list of institutions is updated dynamically.For newly added designated institutions later, the Medical Insurance Bureau will publish the ‘Public Notice of Proposed Newly Added Designated Nursing Service Institutions’. For example, on August 4, 2026, 3 new institutions were just added to the public notice; if an institution operates in violation of regulations or its service agreement expires, a notice of suspension or revocation of designated qualification will also be published. Please refer to the latest documents on the official website for inquiries.

• Prerequisite for enjoying services: both steps must involve designated institutions.To enjoy long-term care insurance services, the process must be followed in order: first, a designated assessment institution conducts a disability assessment. If the assessment conclusion meets the specified disability level, you then choose a designated care institution to receive care services. Care costs incurred at non-designated institutions cannot be reimbursed through long-term care insurance.
