In the next five years, efforts will be made to optimize the industrial structure, coordinate the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, the cultivation and growth of emerging industries, and the forward-looking layout of future industries, while maintaining and developing a complete industrial system. Accelerate the development ofIntegrated circuits, aerospace, biomedicine, low-altitude economy, new energy storage, intelligent robotsand other emerging pillar industries, to promotequantum technology, biomanufacturing, hydrogen energy and nuclear fusion energy, brain-computer interfaces, embodied intelligence, and sixth-generation mobile communications (6G)and other future industries to become new economic growth points.

6G will be a top priority during the ’15th Five-Year Plan’ period. We will accelerate breakthroughs in core 6G technologies, continue to conduct 6G technology trials and standards development, promote the maturity of the 6G industry and ecosystem building, and prepare for the commercial use of 6G. On the demand side, we will deepen application empowerment,promote the large-scale application of technologies such as 5G and the Industrial Internet in manufacturing, energy, healthcare, culture and tourism, and other fields, accelerate the innovative development of ‘AI + information and communications’, cultivate new models of digital consumption, and enable information and communications technology to integrate into factory production lines, reach deep into mines, and brighten people’s lives.

Jointly with relevant departments,promote the application of consumer electronics products in scenarios such as education and training, home-based elderly care, and sports and health,and continuously carry out the collection of typical cases of audio-visual systems and intelligent sports, accelerate the integrated development of consumer electronics products with vertical fields,innovate diversified consumption scenarios. Support display technology to play a greater value in fields such as digital cultural tourism, smart healthcare, and education and training.
Create a batch of ‘shelf-ready’ material products that can be used immediately, making advanced materials the most dynamic ‘growth pole’ of the raw materials industry.

At present, domestically produced ultra-thin flexible glass has achieved mass production at 30 microns, only one-quarter the thickness of an A4 sheet, and the latest film product specifications now cover the 4-micron level.
